Welcome, welcome to Robin's Nest. We have nine guest rooms, one with a deep whirlpool Barbara Joyce's Room and one with a deep soaking tub Cindy's Room. Three of the nine are apartments suitable for extended stays or weekend getaways: Linda Lee's Townhouse, Robert's Retreat, Beverly's Treehouse.

Our rates range from $89 - $240 a night plus tax. We discount rates for extended stays of 30 plus nights. Economical lodging for Houston's temporary apartment housing.

We are adjacent to, or in, Houston's downtown/mid-town, the Museum District, several major universities (Rice, University of Houston, U. of St. Thomas, South Texas Law) and the Texas Medical Center.

The Foyer.

We have two breakfast services: They are: Continental (self serve) or Full Breakfast (full service). We buy or grow fresh, whole foods. The general nutritional rule is at least three vibrant food colors on a plate. See: Ahhh, Breakfast.

Montrose (the Museum District) is one of the few neighborhoods in Houston where one can exist blissfully without a car. Public transportation includes Metro Light Rail and/or Bus system. From the airports you can take the Blue Van Shuttle. Being in the inner city, taxis are ample. One of our units has an attached garage, the remainder have street parking.

Museums, art galleries, parks, the Westheimer bar scene, restaurants (casual to starred) are walkable. We're one to three miles from the Houston Opera, The Hobby Center, Alley Theater, Minute Maid Park, and the Toyota Center. We're across the street from the High School for Performing and Visual Arts

We love and accept children and pets. We ask that they be well behaved and well attended. Please see our Pet Page for our four-legged children.

Why go to an impersonal court house for your wedding/holy union or try to fill a huge reception hall? Our Weddings / Holy Unions., range from the two of you to around one hundred. For just the two of you, it's $750 and $15 per guest for the wedding ceremony only. This rate includes the judge or minister, wedding music, a one-night complementary stay (whirlpool for two), champagne (alcoholic or non) and our signature chocolate covered strawberries. If you don't want to stay over night, the cost is $590 and $15 per guest. The wedding reception is a separate event and cost.

The Third Nest, 715/719 W. Main

Houston hotel accommodations are typically very good. However, once a good bed and breakfast has been discovered, the guest usually converts. Robin's Nest consists of three historical houses (c. 1898, 1920 and 1938) setting side by side in Houston's Montrose Museum District. Our lush gardens are native Gulf Coast flora.
