Weddings, Receptions, Honeymoon Suites...

We're in Montrose, also called Houston's Museum and Arts District. It's a historically designated, restored neighborhood with many mature trees and pampered houses, such as ours, a 1898 Victorian farmhouse now called Robin's Nest.

Our weddings and/or receptions are comfortable and somewhat unconventional: We have the weight and tradition of an 1898 Victorian in mature, native Gulf Coast gardens living in concert with a Montrose eclecticity of style and art.

We have several options:

All of the below packages include the Judge or Minister.

I. Larger Weddings: We define as 50 - 120. The honeymoon suite is complementary. We rent the facility only to you which includes "hard items", such as the facility itself (about 3,000 sq. ft.), tables and chairs, etc. The cost for the above described services range from $3,325 - $6,325 plus tax depending on the number of people and rents the Inn for eight hours.

If you need more assistance, we can select and coordinate with the caterer and all other service personnel you need, such as security, bartender, parking attendants, refreshments, cutlery, etc. We have a selection of good people we can recommend and work with on your behalf. We charge 18% gratuity on the cost of that service. In terms of additional b & b rooms, you'll need to rent three.

II. Mid-Size Weddings: We define as 30 - 50. The honeymoon suite is complementary. We rent the facility only to you which includes "hard items" such the facility itself, tables and chairs, etc. The cost ranges from $1,925 to $3,225 plus tax, depending on the number of people, and rents the Inn for eight hours.

If you need more assistance, we can expand our services. We can select and coordinate with the caterer and all other service personnel you need, such as security, bartender, parking attendants, refreshments, cutlery, etc. We have a selection of good people we can recommend and work with on your behalf. We charge 18% of the cost of that service. In terms of additional b & b rooms, you'll need to rent three.

III. Small Weddings: We define as 20 - 30. The honeymoon suite is complementary. We rent the facility only to you which includes "hard items", such as the facility, tables and chairs, etc. The cost ranges from $2,025 to $2,026 plus tax, depending on the number of people, and rents the Inn for eight hours.

We can select and coordinate with the caterer and all other service personnel you need, such as security, bartender, parking attendants, refreshments, cutlery, etc. We have a selection of good people we can recommend and work with on your behalf. We charge 18% of the cost of that service.

IV. Small, intimate weddings: We define as 2 - 20.

A. 2 people: For the bride and groom only the cost of the wedding rents the downstairs portion of the Inn for you for two hours and includes your honeymoon suite. If you have guests for the ceremony, please add $13 per guest. This does not include a reception, which is priced separately. For just the two of you, it's $450 plus tax.

B. 10 - 20 people: A wedding ceremony only which rents the downstairs portion of the Inn for one hour. If you have guests, please add $13 per guest for the ceremony. This does not include a reception, which is priced separately in the next paragraph. Just the two of you, $450 + $13 per guest plus tax.

The cost for a wedding and reception (The cost of a wedding only is absorbed into the new price, so don't add the two) is $975 - $1500 plus tax, depending on number of guests, and 18% gratuity for waitstaff.

Whatever the size of your ceremony and/or reception, we can provide as little or as much as you want. We are flexible. For example: the reception can be cake reception only; finger foods; and/or a full meal. We can arrange for floral and photographic services on your behalf.
